Algenist Skincare: POWER Serum and ELEVATE Cream

A little bit of a disclaimer: I lost my camera battery charger, so I was waiting for it to be delivered to me this past week. I always am on top of cords, cables and batteries but somehow I misplaced it. Thank goodness for Prime. I also ordered extra batteries in the event that this happens again. Enough about that though, and on-to Algenist products. As you probably know, I am a fan of the brand. I haven’t found much I did not like, so when I was gifted the POWER Recharging Night Pressed Serum and the ELEVATE Advanced Lift Contouring Cream, I knew I’d have to write up a little bit.

POWER Recharging Night Pressed Serum: This product had me intrigued from the get-go. I have never heard of a pressed serum before, so I wanted to give it a try. Why is it called compressed, might you ask? Well, apparently the serum is compressed into its purest form and is very concentrated. I only needed a small amount and it covers plenty of ground. I apply it to my full face and neck at night time – activate it with my fingertips – and use it anywhere I have fine lines or where wrinkles may start forming. Essentially its an all over face serum that I only need to use once per day. (At night) It blends well into my routine and works well in combination with other moisturizers. I still need to be certain that I see major results, so I’ll keep you up to date.

ELEVATE Advanced Life Contouring Cream: As part of the Algenist’s Stand Firm Campaign, the Advanced Life Contouring Cream is all about empowerment. It’s known for “10 minutes to firm. 10 days to sculpt,” so if you’re in the market for something to control fine lines and wrinkles then this is your product. Compared to the POWER Recharging Night Pressed Serum, this product is light and airy. It’s a whipped, white cream that absorbs fast into the skin. Like extremely fast. I don’t feel like my skin is greasy or tacky after application either. It has a minor fragrance to it like most Algenist products, but it does not bother me. I quite like it! The contouring cream is also great before makeup application in the mornings. Thumbs up on this!

*The Algenist products were gifted to me for my consideration. Of course, all opinions are my own. You can shop these and many others by going to algenist.com!
