Birchbox Review: July 2016

Hi there!! Holy moly it’s extremely hot in Florida!! I’m so thankful to be here, and finally work on my tan. Hope you’re having a fab Monday. I was able to sit down and pull together my favorites from my Birchbox delivery this month – so I’m excited to show you.

In the month of July, Birchbox collaborated with Millie Mackintosh. She’s a style icon and beauty inspiration, so it was refreshing to see her so hands-on with the products she selected. I am obsessing over the current cover of the box, as I’m a sucker for a pretty watercolor.

LOC: Ultra-Gloss Lip Pencil in Bohemian Rose: This lip pencil is a full size product. I really love a good pink, which is what I received. Its a great summer color and can be used during the day and at nighttime. I’m happy with the moisture this pencil provides. Its been great to carry around in my beach bag all week!

John Frieda: Luxurious 7 Day Volume In-Shower Treatment: I’m not one for doing too much to my hair, because it literally does nothing. My hair is as flat and straight as can be. I have used this (full size) treatment in the shower twice, so far. It lasts for days. The first time I used it, I used a bit too much and left my hair feeling greasy. The second time I used it, I used half the amount and it was great and really made my hair gain more volume. A little goes a long way with this product.

Nails Inc: Nailpolish in Wilton Row: I’ve been really loving the size of travel nail polishes lately. They’re so handy! This color is a deep plum red, which is nice on my toes this summer. It has a fair amount of color to it, so I only needed two coats. It was a little bit of an autumn/winter color, but I still like it!

Caudaline: Micellar Cleansing Water: This cleansing water is infused with organic grape water, chamomile extract, and plant glycerin. It works nicely with my sensitive skin, while helping to tone down my redness. I suggest using it in the mornings for a burst of fruity scents.

Indeed Labs: Hydraluron Moisture Boosting Mask: Masks are a beauty product I completely forget about, so it was so refreshing (pun-intended) that one was available in my box this month. It’s a 15 minute mask, which gives your face a boost of hydration. I used it immediately after getting off the airplane, my skin really needed a kick. It left my skin feeling smooth and much softer. I will be purchasing again, even if it does make me look silly.
