Urban Decay is back on my radar. I couldn’t resist using this palette before I took photos, sorry not sorry! They released their new collection, “Born to Run.” I was really impressed with last summers Naked Heat Palette, so I had to give this one a chance. To be completely real with you, I didn’t think I’d like it as much as I do. Today I even created a gorgeous blue-smokey-eye look!
The Born to Run eyeshadows feature 21 pans versus the traditional 12 pans that are usually found in the Naked palettes, giving your looks even more options. The shades range from shimmery to matte finishes and is wrapped in travel themed packaging. It’s a palette that will give you basically every look that you need – from neutral to warm tones. It is meant to be the perfect palette that can be easily taken anywhere you go! I’ll be testing out that theory this weekend and report back! (most likely on instagram stories)
Theres a large mirror inside, which I am thrilled about and they didn’t waste their time with a dinky eyeshadow brush leaving more room for colors! The mattes glide on easier than their other formulas and the shimmers are beautiful. Too add a more dramatic shimmer, I always spray a bit of fix+ on my brush to give it power! Below are the colors found inside:

Overall, it’s a thinner palette but much wider than the Naked collections and is able to add an additional row of colors. Even for someone who doesn’t wear much color on their eyes, there’s nothing too crazy found inside, everything is very wearable – so not much to complain about! The cost is $49, which happens to be cheaper than any of their Naked Collection running at $54.
