Hi! I hope your week is starting off right! Mondays are the best worst. This is the first post on my new website, I’ve gotten so many positive reviews! Anyhow, if you follow me on Snapchat (@sarenabee) you would know I took the Jane Iredale #itonlytakesaminute challenge! I received several requests for a more detailed blog on what I used, so here it goes. The entire line of Jane Iredale has been through rigorous tests to confirm the products don’t block pores and are non-irritating, even if you’ve got sensitive skin like myself. Its nice to be able to pick up makeup and be able to read the ingredients. The three stand-out products I used are:
Highlighter Pencil: This is a jumbo, duel-ended pencil was designed to highlight the eyes, lips and face. I only used it on my eyes to highlight the inner corner. The color I used was the white/pink version, with a great shimmer. I have never used a highlighter pencil, because I assumed it would be so hard to blend. I was pleasantly surprised when it drew on and out came a light and smooth application, totally blend-able.
Greatshape Eyebrow Kit: I’ve seen horror stories with girls using waaay too much color on their eyebrows, so for the past while, I’ve steered clear of these ‘trending’ products. The eyebrow kit is in cute gold packaging and great for travel. The color I used on myself was “brunette.” It was nice to use a product that was not overbearing and did its job, subtly. It’s now found its way into my daily makeup routine.
LipDrink Lip Balm: The spf 15 lip balm I used was in the color ‘flirt.’ Its a pinkish tone, it looks more pigmented in the bottle than it actually is. It gave a glossy feel to my lips as I applied it, very hydrating. It is definitely a product you can use everyday for that perfect light pink summer color.
If you are a makeup lover and want to join the #itonlytakesaminute challenge to win some great prizes, head over to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and use the hashtag above. Tell them I sent you 😉
Lasting impressions, I would continue to use the brand! They’ve got an extensive list of makeup I haven’t even used yet! What products are you going to try?
