If you couldn’t tell already, I am a huge beauty-fanatic. I love trying out new products, but before I write a review, I like to be true to sarenabee.com and my readers by trying out the products for longer than a couple days. For the past few weeks, I have been using the L’Occitane Divine Harmony Supreme Anti-Ageing skincare range. There are two products in this line: the cream and the serum. And let me tell you, its ahhhhmazing!
Following ten years of research, L’Occitane has harnessed two natural ingredients with the most astonishing properties: a flower that never fades and a red algae with the ability to eternally regenerate. The flower is called Immortelle Millessimee and the algae, Jania Rubens. With daily use, Divine Harmony works to target expression lines and wrinkles, smooth skin texture, improve facial contours and increase plumpness.
L’Occitane set up its first innovative, sustainable cultivation program in controlled conditions. The Immortelle is cultivated in their own aquariums to minimise disruption to sea-life ecosystems. They were aware of the importance of being green and also created this within their packaging. The bottles are both designed to be re-usable and re-fillable. All you have to do is just unscrew the outer layer and replace. Simple!
In each bottle of the serum, there are over 5,000 micro-drops of Immortelle Mellisemee, suspended in a water based gel. They’re enriched with the restorative powers of Jania Rubens. Basically the breakdown goes like this: these are active ingredients working together to lift, plump and firm the face. The scent is absolutely gorgeous.
In the jar, you’ll find a rich and creamy texture which quickly absorbs into the skin. Upon application, this silky cream transforms into a fine oil in order to release its active ingredients deeper into the skin. It leaves your face feeling hydrated and glowy. The cream, like the serum, smells just as fresh.
If you’d like to have a look, you can find more information here! The Divine Harmony Collection is available in-store and online. Have you used L’Occitane or any of the Divine Harmony products? What are your favorite products in their range? To read about my past L’Occitane review, click here.
