Hiya!
Hope you are enjoying your Monday and Happy 4th of July to all my fellow Americans! It’s another year spent in Ireland for the holiday. It is a little sad to not be around all of the tacky USA swimwear, BBQ food and at the beach shooting off fireworks – but at least Ireland graced us with nice weather for the occasion. BUT I couldn’t be more excited that one of my best friends flew over here, from the states, for the next two weeks. We have so many fun adventures planned, so if you’re interested in checking Ireland off your bucket-list, feel free to follow along!
Yesterday morning the weather was gorgeous, so we decided to head off to the Dublin National Botanic Gardens. I have only been here one other time, which was in 2013. It is located a little bit outside of the city center and extremely easy to visit by the Dublin bus. The gardens host over 20,000 living plants, which took us a few hours to explore. There were a bunch of beautiful and complex wrought iron glasshouses filled to the brim with well-kept greenery. I won’t bore you with speaking about plants and flowers though. So here are a few shots I took with my iPhone instead:
You can also find me on Snapchat and Instagram, if you need other suggestions. What are your favorite things to see in the city? {Now we’re off to the Hurling finals at Croke Park!}
xx
