Rituals are back at it with their Limited Edition Summer Collection. As you have probably heard me go on and on, Rituals is one of my favorite brands that create amazing shower products. I was introduced to them a few years back and since then, always have it on hand. This summer they’ve teamed up with world-famous street artist MadC for the package design. The range they collaborated on is called Express Your Soul. MadC is noted as an artist who creates from her soul, which (telling by the name) is a perfect match. To learn more about her process with package design, you can find more information MadC’s Rituals Interview here. In my opinion, the scent is an extremely unique mash-up and it screams “summer-time.”
There are six products available in the range and I was sent a few products to try out! They include the Shower Oil, the Body Scrub, the Shimmer Body Cream, a bed & body mist, and lastly a package of their tea. Rituals must know me quite well, because I love a good tea! The products all combine properties of Verbena with the floral citrus scent of Petitgrain. At first, I wasn’t really sure what to make of it to be honest. Sometimes citrus scents are awful, but these did not disappoint. If you like a summery uplifting, citrus scent then this range will be for you!
Express Your Soul Shower Oil: The oil is lightly textured. Given that it is an oil – it turns to a milky consistency once water is added to it. My skin is left feeling silky, soft and nourished. It’s fab!
Express Your Soul Body Scrub: Out of all of the Ritual products, the body scrubs have got to be my favorite that they make. They leave your skin feeling amazing and looking radiant, no exaggeration. It removes all of the bumps and dead skin through a gentle exfoliating scrub. The scrubs always feel a bit oily for a few moments until you wash it off. Whatever they do to this product, its magic!
Express Your Soul Shimmer Body Cream: I didn’t realize there was a shimmer inside this cream which was a nice surprise. No, its not glittery. The white cream is rich, but absorbs quickly into the skin making it feel very lightweight. To make the scent last longer, I always suggest using it after the Shower Oil or Body Scrub.
Express Your Soul Bed & Body Mist: I always thought these bed and body mists were extremely handy. The formula contains no alcohol, so it can easily be spritzed on sensitive skin and even textiles. It really gives your home a boost. Surprisingly – I’ve been keeping it in my car, so once I leave the gym and head somewhere else – it gives a fresh feeling!
The range is online and in stores across the UK and Europe. It can also be found in the USA. If you’ve never tried Rituals or are looking for a great brand, I highly suggest it.
