Roller Blow Dry Bar: Dublin

Hi ya’ll – hope you’ve had a great October so far! I can’t believe its almost November, my birthday month! My weeks lately have been quite busy. I’m sure a lot of you have seen on my social channels that I was invited into Roller, a blow dry bar located in Dublin, this past week. Well, I’ve got to say – I’m a huge fan. I love supporting local businesses, sI thought I’d write up a little post about my experience.

Roller is an extremely clean and modern Blow Dry Bar, which are hot on the market right now. It was my first time in one of these beauty bars and it was impressive. The waiting area has a couple really cute grey sofas, chevron patterned floors and were stocked with the latest beauty magazines. All of the hair products for purchase were organized and easy to find on the shelves across the room. The services were clearly written on a menu card at each seat. The prices were reasonable and straightforward, €30 for your blow dry, this includes a hair wash. They offer a charge of €10, if you want an up-do or a hairstyle with braids. There were enough work-stations, so waiting for an appointment would not be an issue. It is in a prime location as far as businesses in the city center go, and easy to find. Walking in, I felt so comfortable and was treated great by the staff. All of the girls were nice, and their hair was exactly how I’d want mine every single day.

Before we got started, I had my hair washed. There isn’t much that I enjoy more than a professional hairstylist washing and massaging my hair. During the wash, I was introduced to Kevin Murphy’s Angel Wash and Angel Rinse. It’s a brand out of Australia, with a unique bottle design. These particular products are sulphate free, paraben free, color safe and rich with antioxidants. My hair is extremely healthy and stick straight, so I needed a light-weight, volumizing shampoo with conditioner that did not make my hair feel oily or overly weighed down. Roller was fully stocked with all of Kevin Murphy products, so I knew I had to take some off their hands and into my daily routine. I’m so glad I did! I’ve been using them for the past week and have already got my eyes on a few other products in the line.

Roller Blow Dry Bar is located on 23 Forbes Street, Hanover Quay, Dublin 2! Their hours are perfect for everyone: Mon-Wed: 7am – 7pm. Thur-Fri: 7am – 8pm. Saturday: 9am – 5.30pm. To find out more details, I’ll pop their website here and their Instagram here. Have you been to a Blow Dry Bar?
