As you might have realized by now, I’ve found myself purchasing quite a few Smith & Cult Nail Polish colors. Some say nail varnish. Potato/Potatoe. They’re just too lovely not to. Everything from the packaging to the actual longevity of these colors is amazing! They are a ten-out-of-ten in my book, which is why I decluttered. I have reduced my nail polish collection by a million bottles. It feels oh-so-good to have a few brands to rely on, but below are my top 5 favorite colors, so far. I still have my eye on a few.
Smith & Cult Nail Polish in Dark Like Me: I love this shade! (and the name, referring to my black on black wardrobe) But surprisingly it’s not a black color. It’s a deep red-wine shade that paints on without leaving streaky marks. I know this is a great dupe for a certain Chanel shade.
Smith & Cult Nail Polish in Pillow Pie: I picked up this lighter shade for the summer and I’ve got to say that it’s pretty nice on my toes, especially when I’m visiting Florida. I’m not usually one for pink, but blush pink is always a must.
Smith & Cult Nail Polish in Tenderoni: If you’re in the market for a lovely brown, this should be the first polish you pick up. It’s not a deep-brown. I’d suggest applying 2+ coats.
Smith & Cult Nail Polish in Bitter Buddhist: This shade is one I get compliments on most frequently. I mean, how could you not? I stopped a girl on the street to find out what polish this was. The muted and dusty mint is a perfect color no matter the season.
Smith & Cult Nail Polish in Stockholm Syndrome: Saving the best for last is a grayish/lavender tone. It seems to switch up its look in certain lights, but the lavender makes for a richer gray. This formula only needs one coat and you’re off to the races.
