I hope you’re having a great ‘hump day.’ I know I am. It’s a short work week for me, and I’m off to Amsterdam this weekend. I’ll have some great reviews for you!
I’m extremely happy to have received two products from Jurlique UK. I have been a huge fan of Jurlique since my lady friends at Birchbox sent me the Rosewater Balancing Mist. It’s so refreshing and my favorite scent: ROSE! I never thought I would use it as much as I do, but now I’m hooked. It really does hydrate the skin and leave a refreshing feel & a gorgeous scent. It’s a part of my daily routine. Anyhow, the two products I’m going to review are pictured above: Rose Moisture Plus Revitalizing Gel Lotion and The Rose Silk Finishing Powder.
Revitalizing Gel Lotion: This is a water-gel emulsion meant for softening and smoothing the skin. I have been sampling this product for the past week, in place of my other products, and I’ve got to say — its great. Its very light and silky; it smells so fresh. My skin feels hydrated afterwards without leaving my face feeling oily. (That’s always the worst when going to apply makeup afterwards.) Even my fiance noticed that I smelled so nice! It says to apply in the morning and night, a dime size amount.
Finishing Powder: This is a silky and translucent face powder meant to reduce shine and refine your complexion. Being someone who constantly has a red face, I love this powder. I use it after I put on my foundation. There is no chalky after-effect either! It really makes my skin have a matte finish to it. The powder pictured about is Rose scented. It is way nicer than my MAC finishing powder, that’s for sure.
