I’ve switched up my haircare routine as of a few weeks ago to give the award-winning Signature Collection from Oribe a spin. As you know, I posted about the Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray back in January and went on about how it’s the only product I find myself reaching for these days. Well, I was sent the Signature Shampoo + Conditioner and the new Gold Lust Dry Shampoo. I’ve noticed such a difference in just the past few weeks, so I wanted to give you a little glimpse! Now all I need to do is book in to get my hair cut…
Oribe Signature Shampoo: What to say about this amazing shampoo except that I LOVE it. Everything from the packaging to the actual product inside was nailed. The Signature range from Oribe is for the ‘everyday’ hair. The shampoo contains different types of keratin and proteins – jojoba, rice and sweet almond with hints of coconut. It detangles and protects while leaving your lush locks shiny and smooth. The product is actually quite thick (clear) and with long hair like mine, a little goes a long way. It foams up really nicely with the touch of water, and rinses very fresh and weightless. Although the price point is more high-end, it’s worth every penny.
Oribe Signature Conditioner: Similar to the shampoo, the conditioner is extremely light weight and smoothing. It’s a traditional thick, white cream and I only use a small amount. Unlike the shampoo where I lather it all over my head and scalp, I just apply the product from about half-way down my hair to the ends. I try to avoid the roots, as I find ANY conditioner makes my hair build-up and feel oily. This conditioner is in a different bottle shape, so its easy to recognize when reaching between shampoo and conditioner. And after you finish styling your voluminous hair, there’s a good chance that people will notice how nice it leaves your hair smelling. Tip: When you’re bringing this on a trip, make sure you unscrew the lid to pour out any water that has snuck through the seal, otherwise you’ll have one wet makeup bag.
Oribe Gold Lust Dry Shampoo: This stuff is GOLD. I know I went raving on how the Dry Texturizing Spray was a great alternative to dry shampoo, well now I can safely say this is the alternative! The Gold Lust Dry Shampoo is extremely light and refreshing. Not to mention it smells just as great as all of their products. As a brunette, I really find this works the best out of any brand I’ve purchased as of yet. I don’t see white gunk as I spray it into my hair and it does not itch. Hands down, it is another re-purchase.
