This weekend I found myself in New Orleans, which was a blast! If you keep up with me on Instagram or Snapchat then you might have seen a photo or two. (More on that later) While I was packing, I was a bit indecisive on what makeup I wanted with me – so I thought it would be a perfect time to post about a few travel minis that I purchased from Mac Cosmetics.
I have always loved Mac Cosmetics, I mean what girl doesn’t – it was the first makeup brand I was loyal to. I still find their Back-To-Mac the best and now with rewards, they’re always a website I choose to buy from! When I was searching their website, as I normally do, I noticed all of their mini’s were half price. Naturally I wanted all of them, but needed to restrain myself.
I ended up picking up three colored mascaras, two pigments and three lip glosses. The mascaras are probably my favorite products that Mac makes. Eh, I can’t really say that – the lipsticks are amazing too. Anyways – the mascara lasts forever and have some really fun colors that I always apply to my lower lashes. The mini’s are from the Zoom Lash collection.
Blue Charge: a vibrant, electric blue
Plum Reserve: a deep purple, which applies darker than it looks on my lashes
Beets Me: a maroon with a hint of brown
There were not too many mini pigments to choose from, as the majority of them were sold out. I settled for Platinum and Tan. Platinum is a silvery shiny metallic and Tan is a muted pinky-brown bronze. They’re gorgeous! I can mix them with other products or give a wash of color to my lids. For an even more dramatic effect, I love to spritz my brush with Fix+ for a pop!
Lastly are the three lip glosses! They’re from the Lipglass collection, which contain an infinite number of colors. I decided to do a range of shades that I know I reach for, a neutral, a pink and a peach. They’re a bit sticky, but do last quite awhi
Carousel: a light creamy pink
Clear Water: sheer nude with multidimensional pearl
Lots of Laughs: a light creamy peach
